The mission of the IBM Global Delivery Center in Bucharest is to provide customers with a seamless and secure solution to their global business needs.
The Centre is part of the long-term IBM vision for Global Delivery that includes Remote Delivery from India, China, Brasil and Romania.
The Bucharest Centre is a client oriented organization with specific technologies and a dedicated young team of professionals. The Center’s capability in terms of resources has increased exponentially in 2007. Furthermore, new technologies have been introduced and more partnerships have been agreed upon, both with international companies as well as with universities.

Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree/ final year student
* Basic knowledge in Java/J2EE
* English: Fluent
* French: Fluent.
Responsibilities
Activities during the internship:
* Training regarding IBM as a corporation and IBM Romania – departments & activities
* Soft skills training for certain abilities – communication, team work, planning& organizing, presentation skills
* Common session regarding hardware, software and services and workshops depending on the professional interest of the interns
* Project tasks in frame of a development project on which interns will need to work together and share information and knowledge with the team members

Our Application Development and Maintenance competency area was started over six years ago and it�s been developing ever since. Today, we deliver expertise across a wide range of technologies such as Java, J2EE, Microsoft, .Net, Mainframe, Cobol, as well as Database Management and Infra Support. If you join our team, you could specialize in Java/J2EE, JSP, JSF, Software Testing, Business analysis and Project Management, and work on a wide variety of projects, ranging from maintenance to enhancement across a range of industries, such as: Financial Services (Banking and Insurance), Industrial and Public Sector.
